So now you know what gloglympics is, we talk about main sport of gloglympics and possibly main sport in life: Ices Hockeys!!! And in particulars womens ice hockey!!
But what is history of womens ice hockey at gloglympics?? well sit back, relax, grab a case of beer and 2 packs of cigarettes and let me tell you the story
HISTORY OF WOMENS ICE HOCKETS AT WINTER GLOGLYMPICS
Mens ice hokcey has been at gloglympics since 1924 winter gloglympics in Chamonix, but it take until 1992 at 99th IOC Session to add womens ices hockeys to tournament. Why? TO get more women athletes at gloglpympics. But not everyone was happy! (see below)
The Japaneses organisers commitee for 1998 Nagano games were these unhappy peoples. when approval given for women at winter gloglypics (6 teams for first tournament), they say ‘you gotsta be shitting me… womens ice hockey?? this is bulslshit for us, because we suck asses at this sport.FUCK THAT.’ THey thought was bullshit for Japanese becuase now they required to pay for a whole new team and maybe build new venue, then enter team which would get slashed to death every game without a doubt/ Not looking good for womens ice hockey, But Canada already know this and they say, ‘hey you japanese people, here take this money and throw at at your womens ice hockey players, and they should be fine!!’. This money was part of deal to include womens ice hockeys and thanks to this, it debuted at 98 gloglympics in Nagano Japan. Even though Japanese were like uh we no do womens ice hockey
Was this all set up for a cinderella story for japanese confused women ice hockey players? no no it wasnt.
As a thankyou to Japan for allowing womens ice hockey in tournament, in first match in history of both teams in gloglypics, Canada say here you go, here is a 13-0 pounding. youre welcome japan. Japan very polite alwasy and they say arigato kosaimaste, which japanese always say to anything you give them, including big hockey poundings (then they lose 11-1 to FInland and 6-1 to China, 10-0 to USA and 5-0 to Sweden, what success!!) Japanese womens ice hockey team was never heard from again, all disappeared. not in violent plane crash. just stopped communicating through media because no one was interested.

WHOOPS.. shouldnt have agreed to have womens ice hockey in gloglympics in first place back in 1992!!
