This is the most expensive phone I’ve ever bought, and yesterday I dropped it and the screen broke.
EXCELLENT.
Now that the screen’s cracked, I don’t have to worry about cracking it. I’m free from worrying about it happening now.
If you break something, lose something, break up with someone, or fuck something else up, that’s great. Because you have now past the point of the inevitable. Just like with being born, the only thing you’re guaranteed is to die.
But what about if it’s possible to fuck it up more, or make it even worse?
The question to ask about anything is concerned with its superficialities. Whether it’s scratching your car, laptop, breaking the screen on your phone. Ask yourself about everything.
- What is the purpose of this? (Phone: to text, to call, to use some apps etc.)
- Can I still do it?
If yes, continue living –you’re most likely not going to think a lick about it if you make it to 60,70, 80 years old.
But if no, okay, take steps to get another thing that can satisfy your reliance on what you just fucked up.. Funtionality matters (Does it work or not?)
Superficialities don’t matter shit.
