To understand yourself and what’s best for you (especially when weighing up a major decision), ask yourself these four questions.

Who am I?

What’s Important to me?

What do I like?

What do I need?

Once you take the time to think deeply on these, in as much uncomfortable (and confronting) detail as possible, you’ll make the ‘right’ decision*. The decision that’s the most positive for you, based on who you are right now.

*I put right in pretentious air quotes there, because there are no right or wrong choices (the choices that turn out challenging and difficult make you stronger, while the easier and more enjoyable ones are well, enjoyable, and enjoyable = yes please).
