Acknowledging what is true, and what is really happening in your life, and not living in denial about things in your past is the way forward. And though it may be difficult to acknoweldge that we messed up, that someone was terrible to us, that a relationship is over, or that today will be a longass sucky, it may be the only way we can go forward, and truly be present in this moment right now.
