I don’t live my life by any specific sayings or soundbites. One, because I can’t remember them exactly as they were said and two, living life in all the ways you want to can’t be distilled into one or two pull quotes.
But one thing that I do try to live by is ‘optimal minimal’, which is a truncated version of ‘optimal output, minimal input’, something that Tim Ferriss believes in.
Get the best result or get the most done by using the least amount of time or effort required. Time’s the only thing we can’t get back, so doing things ‘optimal minimal’ frees you up to put more effort and spend more time on the things you care more about.
